Formed in the Fall of 2022, Venus Overdrive quickly caught the attention of the vibrant Champaign-Urbana music scene. Taking influences from power pop, indie rock, garage, and punk, their infectious sound seamlessly blends melodic hooks with high-octane alternative rock that resonates with a wide range of emotions. The trio has since created a regional following, opening for the Pygmalion Music Festival in 2023 and winning Best Local Band in The Daily Illini's Best of CU 2024.
