On the evening of April 23, 2024, the scene was set for our most ambitious event to date. This event took full control of the Canopy Club, and used its iconic stage to raise money for B[U]ILT, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Black, Indigenous, and Latinx students in Tech. The fans rallied in support of their favorite local artists, while Godly the Ruler sat patiently on their throne, awaiting their moment to electrify the crowd with a headlining performance. This is the story of how, and why, this event came to be.
